Accident Analysis

  Slow Heat Conduction             Top Problems
  1、Not followed by the preheating instruction standardly.     1、Slag accumulated around the top area or in between of the top area and the furnace cover.
  2、Slag influences heat conduction.     2、Repeatedly top-impact when feeding.
  3、The crucible has reached its lifetime.     3、Excessive oxidaion on top.
      4、Connecting with some metals with large heat exchanging coefficients.
 
  Corrosion     Explosion
  1、Adding flux when the crucible is empty or with slug,Excessive use of flux.     1、Heating rapidly while the crucible has damped during storage or transportation.
   2、Certain fluxes contain corrosive substances.     2、The added materials are not completely dried.
   3、Fuel containing corrosive substances.     3、Overrapid heating-up during preheating procedure.
   4、Abnormal high-temperature operation may result in molten glaze layer resembles corrosion.    
 
  Excessive Oxidation     Middle or Bottom Parts Problems
  1、Hoisting or moving irregularly damages glaze layer.     1、The crucible is not installed properly. It should be put in the middle of the furnace stack, smooth and stable.
  2、Flame dashes against bottom directly.     2、A suited graphite stand is unutilized.
  3、No corresponding electric heating circles around the top or bottom of the crucible.     3、Metal materials added overfilled,or metal ingots horizontally,diagonal in the crucible.
  4、The top of the crucible is not protected by upturned flame and isolated from oxygen in gas furnace.     4、Leftover slag or molten metal in the crucible.
  5、Overheated working temperature.     5、The existence of temperature difference in furnace stack.
